These are goals R.A.W. is working toward. None of the following have been completed.
- Form a Florida nonprofit corporation
- Obtain an IRS Employer Identification Number
- Establish an independent governing board
- Adopt bylaws and a conflict-of-interest policy
- Create dedicated organizational banking
- Complete applicable Florida charitable-solicitation requirements
- Apply for federal 501(c)(3) recognition
- Explore a qualified fiscal-sponsorship relationship
- Create educational and awareness campaigns
- Develop speaking and community programs
- Partner responsibly with established brain-cancer organizations
- Develop a legally reviewed patient-assistance program
- Establish written eligibility and application standards
- Publish financial, operational, and impact reports
Formation Roadmap
Four Phases of Growth
Phase 01: Plant the Roots
Community, storytelling, research, volunteers, professional advisers, and organizational planning.
Phase 02: Build the Foundation
Florida formation, governance, banking, accounting, insurance, policies, compliance, and federal tax-exempt planning.
Phase 03: Grow Awareness
Speaking, social media, educational resources, community events, responsible partnerships, and public outreach.
Phase 04: Support Warriors
Develop financial-assistance or support programs only after the required legal structure, funding, written eligibility rules, financial controls, independent oversight, and regulatory review are established.
